Clock temp voltage mod

finally got around to fitting a 12v wired clock into that vacant spot on the CCM. Passengers keep asking wheres your clock.

Finding a suitably sized wired panel mount clock is harder than i imagined. The clock has a small rechargable (i think) battery that stores settings while the display is off, its keeping good time after 48hrs , as a back up if the clock cant keep time it also displays the temp inside/outside and batt voltage.

You’ve got a button to trap your kids in the car, and the other button looks like....

That looks very neat. But wonder how accurate these chinese clocks stay. I actually glued one just above the radio, same kind of chinese stuff with button battery inside, it gets completely blank when the car is parked in the heat of the summer. But indeed, it's a good thing to have, I always check it out instead of the tiny one on the cluster

My clocks have a mind of their own. In a months time I swear they are about 10 minutes fast.

You mean the dash clock ? If on a 2002-2003 that's a first sign of future DIM failure. Mine did so, then started with the message display

My 04 XC has been doing it for 10 years!
04 V70 AWD & V70R have done it as long as I’ve owned them also

Do you make a habit of traveling any significant fraction of light speed or visit black holes?
