Has anybody ran non nivomat rear springs on a car still equipped with Nivomat shocks?

No. They're too long, the spring rate is way too low, and you need different spring cups.

Oh, I'm talking about an AWD V70 here too. I have nivomat suspension right now, I will be needing new spring perches soon, and likely installing the coilover perches as thats all that is available. I plan on removing the nivomat shocks, but if I have the springs out, may as well put in the stiffer ones then when I get shocks, I just have to change them.

Apologies, I seemingly forgot how to read. Everything I said above needs to be reversed. Non-nivomat springs will have too high a spring rate, and be 50mm too short. The spring cup part is still correct, at least.

You don't need to remove the springs to change the Nivomats or to install a conventional damper.

I'm rather confused about your plans, to be honest. To clarify, you intend to swap your Nivomat setup to a normal spring and damper set-up. You're looking to get the springs now (presumably the damper later?) and as such are wondering if you can fit the springs in advance?

If that's all correct, if, then it is unadvisable as the non-nivomat springs are not compatible with the Nivomats. If you have a problem with your current springs (is that the case?), i.e. they've broken or cracked, then your best bet is to replace with nivomat springs from a breaker until you can afford to replace the whole rear set-up. If your current coils are not broken I do not understand why you would have them out?

I do have a request!!

When all of this is said and done, could you please share your part numbers and sites? That'll be awesome.
