Hello everyone.

I've been working on a friend's S40 and I can't for the life of me figure out what the issue is here. The car runs absolutely fine, but I can't get these codes to go away for her to pass emissions. It's got a new MAF on it. I just have to think this many ECM codes (to no ill effect somehow) have to be tied together somehow.

I actually did that yesterday. After being unplugged from the battery for an hour or two after cleaning the check engine light was off. Came back today according to my friend.

You did clear the codes. They do not clear on their own.

Clean the connectors on the sensors and check the wiring.

MAF:
Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable or Open-circuit in the signal cable .

FTS:
Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable or Damaged fuel temperature sensor.
