I am searching for a genuine new throttle cable for my RHD 850R auto. I see plenty online for LHD but I believe these are shorter? Happy to pay any price as I am getting rather desperate, these are unavailable at the dealership. Willing to wait for shipping from anywhere in the world. Where would I get one from?
I am also after some genuine Volvo badges, specifically "Volvo", "850 R" for the rear, and "R" for the front grille. Same story, willing to pay any price anywhere in the world. Are there any articles or info on the exact placement of these badges? Mine were missing from my wagon when I bought it a few months ago, the badges would complete the look.
Thank you
Where to find RHD 850R throttle cable?

Nowhere, if anything like the UK. They've been NLA over here for almost a decade now. LHD are indeed significantly shorter. Normal protocol here is to approach cable manufacturers directly and pay a fortune for one-offs.

Maybe you could rig a pivot on the firewall that takes the LHD cable from the pedal, and then pulls a second LHD cable to the throttle body? We could get you second hand LHD cables here pretty cheaply

For the badge:
https://www.skandix.de/de/fahrzeug-teil ... r/1032792/
They also have an english version if their website, and they also have the 850 Emblem in stock. Du no if they ship down under, but I'd guess. But your dealer should habe them or get them from Volvo classic parts in Sweden.
The R badge up front was not a factory option for the 850Rs as far as I know. People just put them there.

A P is even faster than R, with a Q being in the middle

So how much longer does it need to be ? If you need to get creative it's basically a two part problem. First lengthening the plastic sleeve ( not hard ) and second adapting the old or creating new ends on the new longer cable. That's the trickier part but I think it can be done.
( I just saw a 12 piece set of cable end barrel fittings on ebay for $10.)

Hi, did you eventually find the throttle cable pn 9445235? I have the same problem as you. If you did, where did you find it? I know it's been a while since you posted this.
