Head off and valve replacement is about 20 hours of Labour. Document where you lost compression so you remember which ones to replace! I think it’s only exhaust which contact, someone confirm please.

Remove the spark pliugs too, then when you are turning the crank over you dont have to worry about compression. Any resistance would be valves to piston, back crank off a bit, turn cams ahead, keep going until allignment marks are alligned. Dont force anything as its likely valve to piston contact.
