its not possible to repair the mechanism without destroying the casing. Get one from your junyard ,however if i leave the front passenger door open and try and lock the car, shouldnt all the locks pop back up?

EDIT: ok i just tried it and the front passenger door locks with the door open. The drivers door does not.

All my locks pop straight back up with pass door open unless I flick the latch to closed with my finger then the car secures itself... Except the pass door.. Its gotta be the lock itself then I think.. Thankyou I'll pull the card and get the number

OK so moving on slightly I was looking at a trickle charge on the car (I have a separate post about ways to do it)
I bought a genius 5 charger / maintainer / repair unit
I fully charged, disconnected and ran the repair mode.
Battery seems to have a little more kick... I think but for the first run of the car all locks functioned perfectly.. 5 or 6 time consistently over a run lasting about an hour with various stops.

Got home and alas lock on passenger door has began buggering about again ☹️
I'm now wondering if my battery may be shot.

Could that be causing this issue? Not enough voltage ⚡ so it lifts one lock? If that's the case why does it deadlock.
Do these have a failsafe where a door unlocks if there is a voltage drop upon locking?
Anyone got an idea.
I don't want to spend £100 odd on a battery to find that's not the problem if I can help it

Read battery volts at posts at idle, should be around 14v.

Well this is bizarre.... The problem has moved!
Still issues with the pass door but now the drivers front is occasionally immediately unlocking....

and a new alarm siren module fitted since last post

. I've not yet found a door lock for the passenger front door.
