Inner Tie Rod Replacement

Inner Tie Rod Replacement

I've never done Tie Rods before, but it looks pretty straight forward. The only question I have is removing the rear clamp on the inner boot. Is the clamp simply pushed off the boot? How then is then is it replaced?

Also, does anyone have the torque spec on the inner nut?

I recommend using only Oeticker clamps, zip ties are not tight enough and may let pass humidity which will rust the rack and damage the seals

For the bellows clamp, pretty sure it's a 56mmx7mm. Guy named Howard who has a Volvo site was selling them for a few years but is no longer. You can see them here- https://www.mk1autohaus.com/56mm-Steple ... _6605.html

Torque for tie rod inner nut is noted as 80Nm in VIDA.
