Put everything back together and it ran like crap. Had vibration at Idle. After letting it sit coupe of hours, it ran fine. On the cam gears next!

I finally got everything done. I did cleaned up the PCV system first and then installed junk yard VVT gear. So far no leak. Will see how long it last. I did install new cam seals. I looked in to the Volvo cam locking tool and did not care for it. I made my own tool and it worked great.

Haha,

Very nice tool you made!

On the other forum, someone posted a home-made tool DIY.
NOTE: do NOT use Aluminum, it will break as the DIYer, use steel:

I seriously doubt even steel flat stock would work with over 85 ft-lbs of torque. I made mine out of tool steel on lathe and then milled the slots. I did not even need the bolt to hold in place since I could not find 7mm bolt anywhere.

Read about the glove test and tried it, but - the glove was instantly sucked down into the oil spout ! Below is what I was able to pull out of the top of the engine

Replaced all the Oil Trap Box + hoses, etc.

Oil filter 1st oil change after the fix and then about a year later !
Big difference :>

I would almost guarantee the reason your cam seals are leaking is due to a clogged oil trap. Replace the cam seals, timing belt (due to oil saturation), the oil trap and check to see if your charge air hose is oil saturated and replace that as well if it is. You will need that tool above along with a cam seal drift/installer. To make sure that get seated properly without damage.
