Removing center console on 2002 S40

Sounds silly but I haven't figured out how to remove the center console on the S40. Vadis says there are two screws on the back after removing the rear tray (I broke mine in pieces doing this). The console has an armrest which isn't shown in Vadis. I'm sure it's factory. Really frustrating the lack of available manuals for this car! Any one help?
