Hello , everyone .
Has anyone had luck with installing the subframe bushings using the outer plate and a jack under it and pushing it into place.
Having been able to work on this headache until now..
Thanks
Jay

Blacklab467 shows how to make outer washer work with some standoffs to be able to drive in the bushings. I made a version using wood dowel material and it worked well. I flipped the washer so I could start and use the bolt to press in the bushings, flipping the washer allowed the bolt to be threaded in some when the bushing hadn't been pressed in at all. I would get them pressed in a little using the bolt and if they weren't going in even I used a hammer to adjust and then pressed them in some more using the bolt and adjusted as necessary, did this over and over until the bushing was fully pressed in I was able to install them all using only the bolt to press them in. I did break a couple of the wood dowels and bent the washer some but just made a couple of more standoffs and straightened the washer when I was done.

This is the passenger side front subframe, looks like the subframe skewed,or shifted on this side..
Or the chassis bent. We'll see when I get them all done if I can't center the subframe with the bolt holes....

It shifts easily. Once you have all the bushings pressed in, follow the subframe alignment instructions in VIDA. You may even need a piece of tube of appropriate size (OD = ID of bushing, ID = OD of bolt).
