Hope everyone is having a great Monday. New member as of this morning! I’ve recently obtained my wife’s ‘04 S60 2.5t FWD after buying her an ‘18 V60 a few months ago. I’ve now been given the green light to do whatever I please with it! Nothing major for now but I’ve came across a salvaged ‘09 S60. I know it is still based on the P2 platform but was curious how interchangeable the parts can be. Mainly needing the rear bumper and could always have the seats as back up if it’d work. Forgive me for the possible “dumb” questions but I’ve realized previous expertise and enthusiasts are better than google.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome !!

I don't know the S90 platform at all, but the Volvo Web Store is a great reference for OEM part numbers.

Its a bit tedious, but you can enter each model year number into the finder, then pull up parts and check the fitment guide to see if they apply.

Accuracy, about 99.5%, vs the 43% accuracy of Rock Auto or typically parts stores.

Most body parts are interchangeable. The electronics however are not between that 09, and 04. The seats, you'll have to swap the skins. The heater connections are the same, but the airbag is different, so it will throw an SRS code just direct swapping the seats.

But rear bumper, will swap, easy enough, and you can put a body kit on the newer bumper for $100 ;) The older ones were one piece. Side skirts will fit all years as well.
