I finally reattached the left front mud guard on the Silver Bullet, which had been hanging by a single rivet at the top.

Those POM rivets are great for those. I’ve tried the cheap little auto store body clips, but they always fall out. I redid all of mine with those rivets a while back and they’re finally solid!

I finally dropped the subrame in the V70R the other day to replace my horribly leaking O’Reilly reman rack. Put the subframe back in today and torqued down the new bolts. Now tomorrow I need to sit the engine back down on all the mounts and get everything else wrapped up. New TRW reman rack is in (hurt my wallet a little bit, but I shouldn’t have to worry about it anymore) as well as Kaphlenke/BNE delrin subframe bushings. Those should be a big improvement over the old rotted out bushings.
Next project with this car will be the delta link swap... finally! I can’t wait to get that knocked out, and I will certainly post something either on here or Swedespeed (or likely both) to document it, since it has not been documented as of the last time I searched. It shouldn’t be too big of a deal, the chassis is exactly the same (as far as mounting locations) on the AWD as the FWD from what I can tell.

Does the crank pulley need ro be removed? There is usually just enough space to squeeze the new belt in. Last time I just cut the old belt out. Not having to remove the crank bolt is a big time saver if you can avoid it.

I’ve always zipped them off with a 30mm on an impact, worst case 28 seconds of propane heat needed too.

Yesterday on an errand, I was surprised to find that almost all the resistance in the Silver Bullet’s clutch had disappeared. It now needs a feather-touch to shift, although I have to rev it quite a bit to get it moving in first gear.
As far as I know, it’s on the original clutch (190k). Looks like I have some work ahead of me!
