1997 850 non turbo

Another question, Men, I have a 97' 850 and I need to find the engine model so I can order parts. I checked the timing cover , no tag. I looked at the back part of the motor could not see a number stamped there. I also looked at my owners manual no luck. Reading other post the model number should end with a 34 or 35. I also read a post that advised that the VIN # may hold the information.

The engine is the 6th and 7th digit of the VIN.

For a normally aspirated sedan it should start with YV1LS55.

For a normally aspirated wagon it should start with YV1LW55.

I can't find any information on engine codes 34 or 35, what country is the car in?

If it is European I can check some other places
