Thanks, much appreciated! I do have an engine support bar and a cherry picker.

Didn't want to drain coolant, so it took twice longer, thanks to the upper bell housing bolt (the one hidden behind crankshaft position sensor).

Lifting the car 23" was way-way over, it actually made everything much harder, since I could not reach the bolts from beneath laying flat on my back, without some prolonged 6-pack workout (not the one 6-pack I like). 20" would do it, I think.

My 5k miles old, barely driven collar sleeve started to loose teeth shape already, with a new angle gear ("new", but with perfect teeth)! :( I think I will replace it with GP one, which is tempered better, as I've heard.

Your garage mid-project looks a lot like my garage mid-project. Except I would likely have a small pond of fluid spreading out across the floor.

I've had my ATF puddle wiped off - see a darker concrete below the radiators? =)

when I lived in Boston, I would have considered that to be a Garagemahal.

Here's a YouTube typical video. Seems it's just for 12V battery operated; does not have a combination of AC also.
I still like it with it's only 12V. Will be very convenient for me.

I consider these as portable emergency use only.

Have made up my mind not to bother with the power jack, with respect to the cost.
Good decision! Without 12V it's useless also.
.
