Hi. How do I get the black cap off to check my regulator valve diaphram? Looks odd with those tabs all the way around it. 2008 XC90. Thanks

You have to break them to get it off. I bought the Dorman diaphragm kit from Rock Auto,
DORMAN 917147 {#31319642, 31319643} DIAPHRAGM
I used a small punch to break the tabs after trying all kinds of tricks to get the cap off without damaging it. Turns out my diaphragm was fine, but installed the replacement . No problems. Took the car for a 3,100 mile romp right after, and all is well.
