Wheel size question
Wheel size question
My car: 2006 XC70 Ocean Race...17" wheels. I have the opportunity to purchase wheels from a 2007 S60- 17".. It is quite a distance to pick them up...maybe a few hours. How do I know if those wheels will fit my car? The 17" is correct, but what about the width and offset? Help...I want to let the fellow know ASAP

Are the wheels Volvo originals or aftermarket?
On the back of Volvo OE wheels the size and offset should be stamped. It will say something like 7 x 17 x 49
The 7 is the width in inches. For your car it will probably have 7.5" - Obviously it makes sense to remove a wheel and check on your own car.
17 is the wheel diameter.
The 49mm is the offset. A larger number means it will sit closer into the inner fender.
The one thing to watch is the center bore which I don't think is stamped on the back. For your car it is 65.1mm if I recall. 08 and on P3 models (yours is a P2) have a 63.5mm center bore.
Ask the seller to take pictures of any numbers on the back of the rim and send them to you.
The bolt hole positions should be 5 x 108mm
Neil.

Much faster but if you only put them on one side it drives in circles…
