Most countries don't serve the ridiculous American sugar junkie sizes.
Hah! Well when you order a large coffee, you expect a typical paper cup sizing. Not sure why Dunkin's iced coffee is trying to replicate the "Super Sized" options

It's a perfect place for a wallet and phone.

Last night I ordered a new set of Blizzak WS90 snows. All ready to buy from Tire Rack, and then I checked at Costco. There's a $150 off deal on this tire, so it beat TR by like 80 bucks. I really liked the idea of the Continental Viking just because it seems so appropriate on a Volvo, but the Blizzak is only a few dollars more and beats it in every category.

This was actually a couple weeks ago but: almost ruined the Haldex casing when trying to get out a badly stuck Haldex oil pump.

Seems OK, it is not leaking after a week, but for example you can see the threads exposed where I chipped the casing. There are a few other gouges but appears ok. Now that I know it's not leaking I applied some silicone to hopefully prevent excessive corrosion of those threads moving forward.

Ridiculous, putting a cup holder next to electronics. . .
As if we don’t endure enough headaches stemming from electrical oddities on P2’s. I have to believe Volvo thought it amusing to suggest owners store their beverages adjacent to the radio/CCM/etc.

By the way, I just removed one of these stupid things & replaced it with the “pocket” (where boost gauges are supposed to live vs caffeine filled cups :) )
One clasp is broken off, but operates as it should & free to anyone who can make use of it.

My car is making a metallic clanging sound whenever I pound on the front driver's side tire. Driving slowly, I think I also hear it on speed bumps. Any idea what it could be? The outer brake pad spring clip seems sturdy and in place, and I can't see the inner one easily. I don't think it's the hub, but maybe something else is loose?

Also, anyone have recommendations for a TPMS set? Or do ya'll with pre-07 cars just check the pressures regularly like I should be doing?

Strut Mount.
1. Don a pair of heavy gloves.
2. Fix your eyes on the Strut Mount.
3. Grab the car by the fender well.
4. Bounce the car up and down.

Along those lines check the spring seat, they fail far too often. Pull the plastic cap and check the top nut on the strut tower - can you turn it with a wrench/pliers (if so then it's broken) or does it resist (as it should).

I'd also check the sway bar end links because they are a weak spot.

Spring seats , Strut mounts, if you replace one you might as well replace the other when you have it apart.
