I need to replace this part which is cracked. It is a plastic connector that joins 3 hoses and has electrical connector on top. There is a spring inside. The cover is cracked causing the spring to not stay compressed. I think it is fuel related. Could anyone tell me what this part is so I can order a replacement?

You might find you don’t have power brakes at idle or startup if this switch goes out. You will have power brakes at speed , though.

Thank you for the detailed answer. I have just started repairing my own car over the last few years. I still have a lot to learn!

And the technology continues to advance. However, there is still stuff you can do yourself (SSYCDY?).
