Mystery oil leak below oil pump

Both of my 2000 V70s had dark oil staining in the bottom right rear corner of the engine, below the oil pump. When I changed my timing belt, I carefully examined the oil pump and the leak didn't seem to be coming from there. Yet when viewed from below, where the pair of metal and rubber lines pass behind the motor mount, the metal is wet with oil.

What could be causing that leak? abscate, since you just took apart my old engine, did you see any fault which caused that leak?

Very slight oil sump leak is my guess. I would clean with citrus engine cleaner and then see if it comes back. It could be 10 years of seep
