Do not exceed 60 mph
Ac must be off
Fuel tank between 1/4-3/4 full
(No full throttle acceleration , too)
Oh ok thanks.

Would you happen to know which drive regimen is right for this car 1998 v70 ?
Maybe a link or something?
I’ve been driving a Volvo long before anyone ever paid me to drive one.
That's probably because I've been driving one since 2015 and nobody has offered to pay me yet.

Here you go. Volvo requires this to be done twice.

Yikes, do you have to stand on your head and clap three times too while doing the runs? ha ha.
Who is the nut job that designed this procedure. It takes an hour just to read though it all.
Is this really for a 1998 v70 or for any Volvo?

Thanks Steve.

At least my 1996 only needs safety inspections here in Texas. No more emissions testing! I of course strive to keep everything operating as normal.

Hi there,

Oh you are lucky then we have to have the monitors ready here in NJ but my car has some exceptions just not enough to pass yet.
I head out to Los Angeles now and then i have a friend out there who amazingly is a Hollywood actress and out there the regulations are pretty strict. Lucky to get any car through. I think they have an extra smog test too cant remember offhand now. They have so many other problems though. I considered moving out there at one point to be closer to my friend but they have so many problems and they just keep getting worse. Fires, fires, fires, one even close to her house, and now i read about the water supply getting to a critical level. I also read about new ways to convert sea water to fresh drinking water but not sure if they have been implemented yet. I hope they get to steppin' with that soon :-)

There are much bigger issues than fire, locusts, water, and earthquakes in LA.

How do I know when I’ve left Tustin and am now in Irvine?

Do I sit in traffic at Bake or Lake Forest?

What good is a beach when the nearest parking is 1 mile away?

Are all restaurants soon going to be Taco Bell?

Hi,

Is that last comment a little racist? (Just kidding)
Yes if you mean what i think, yes every store i went to was run by Mexicans and has names that reflect that nationality.
It was a little surprising to me at first because i didnt realize that immigration had reached that level there.
Before i took Ubers i took taxis, and i had to take a lot of taxis, and nearly every taxi driver was Mexican.
Lucky they are all friendly people i found so it was nice really. They are happy to be there. In NJ some are very very friendly and some are i think anti friendly as i found out, but that's rare.
So maybe our country name should change to USAM Unitied States of American Mexico (ha ha).

In particular one of the maids she had come on one visit was really nice very friendly and a happy person full of smiles.
The taxi drivers were all very friendly too although i was surprised one of them got lost on the way back from McDonalds ha ha so it took about 45 minutes to go about 6 blocks. I swear he was the stereo typical Mexican you'd see on TV with the accent and look and all, it was interesting and i have to admit a little comical although i dont mean any disrespect i was glad to meet him.

For Thanksgiving i spent about 2 months there and we had a fabulous Turkey dinner from a local restaurant "Mamas" or something like that. It was one of the best i even had with real turkey not turkey loaf. Dessert was amazing too and at a really good price including delivery. On the contrary, a steak house down the street gets 72 dollars (USD) for ONE steak dinner for ONE person. That's a bit steep i think even Longhorns in NJ does not charge that much (about half of that last time i was there a couple years back).

Well thanks for the car drive info i hope i can get this done, i wonder what happens if i cant?

I think that is a "demolition man" movie reference.
