Coolant leaking. (2002 v70)

After fixing multiple leaks I found, the coolant is still disapearing. I can not find any coolant on the ground (maybe im just not looking hard enough), and I can not find a leak. I dont think its the head gasket since I just replaced that, and the exhaust is fine, and there are no bubbles in the coolant resovour like there was before. It also seems that the coolant leaks faster when the car is being driven. How would I go about solving this and finding the leak?

Do a coolant pressure test.

Coolant might seep out on something warm and dry off. Can be really hard to find sneaky leaks. I have recommended a pressure tester several times. Easy peasy. Hf has a kit that works great.

I had a similar issue twice. Once was the radiator, and the other time was the heater core. The radiator had a pinhole and was leaking, but not enough to make a puddle and it was evaporating for the most part.

for the heater core, it had a similar issue, and was leaking into the passenger side floorboard, but I didn't know it because I don't often carry passengers and it wasn't leaking a ton.

So, yeah - pressure test the system!

Did you ensure you did not have a cracked sleeve/cylinder? That's the last possible reason if it isn't a heater core, which trust me, are a pain in the ass no matter the car. The whole dashboard comes off, the wiring is in the way, the support frame may be in the way, the nuts and bolts outside and inside....

Ok, yes, the heater core was a pain on my 02 V70 2.4T, but it wasn't THAT bad!?! I did not have to remove the dash.

Look for chalky stains on the coolant bottle, the corners of the bottle can crack and leak under pressure but barely leave a trace.

Trust me I've disassembled many many cars and it's always a pain in the ass to take out the whole unit behind the dashboard. Luckily it's a scrap yard so most of the time I don't have to worry about damaging it, cause it may be going in the bin, however even if I gave it my all, a few bits and nuts may get broken when you think you got them all.
