I'm in lower MI, so not terribly hot like the South. I do use AC off and on.... usually more for humidity than temperature.

Fresh Volvo coils have been reported to improve mileage.

I've got a 96, so only one coil. I've considered changing it, but I'd hate to spend the money and find my original was perfectly good.

Wow! That sure would be nice to get.

The other thing I thought of is that I'm still pulling in air from both the front of the car, and the engine compartment. I started looking for a lower air box from a Turbo to get rid of my stuck air diverter and I never finished that.... I do have the hose from the manifold disconnected, so it's not pulling air from right above the exhaust.

Just a guess on my part that you were further South. But if you generally drive at 70+MPH, I think you are pushing more air than Abs.

70 is my max. I often leave time to travel at 60-65 and trade time for $$$

My T5 jumps from 25 to 28 if I stay off the boost at 60

I don't think this is a speed issue. I reach 80mph, but it's only for a small portion of my drive. I drive through a very long stretch of construction, and I may only be able to go 50 or 60 mph. On the way back home, I don't reach 80mph at all.

I got gas last night, and it was 25.x again.
