Generally speaking, " Made in Russia " doesn't strike me as meaning quality.

But I wouldn't call them quality. Tough and cheap to make, yes.
Their Vodka, on the other hand ( the stuff they don't export ), is one plus, but again " generally " .....

Edit: Okay, I'll also give them Nesting Eggs, and furry hats.
Edit #2: I somehow forgot Caviar.

Nokian is famous for making good snow tires. I don't know how good their more standard car tires are. I bought AT tires for my truck from Nokian because they were cheap, but from a well known tire company. Initially I was happy with them, but they don't wear well. Sometime in 2019, I think, I needed new tires again, and bought a new pair, thinking I'd buy the second pair a bit later. Later came, and the price had gone up, then it went even higher. High enough that I was no longer interested in buying them. So I only ever got 1/2 of my second set. I've got tires on the back with only a few thousand miles, and tires on the front that need to be replaced.

I have a '99 V70 XC with the LPT. Also running Nokian eTyre 2.0's in the "heavy" version. I like them. My AWD prop shaft isn't currently in and they rarely slip.

As others have said, runs out of steam at the top end, but about a half second after wide open throttle, look out. =)

I had a 99 T5 years ago. It was pretty quick too even though it was actually a GLT. pep boys had replaced the engine for the PO and didn't know of or didn’t care what engine they put in it. Took forever to figure out why the fuel trims was so off. Finally looked closer and realized it was a glt. New blue injectors finally made the cel go away.
