Was your original solenoid with a straight connector like mine so you had to splice the wire? I was considering replacing mine with the side connector as the straight connector solenoids are hard to come by and more expensive. The gasket and body looks the same and could interchange as the function of the solenoid should be generic.

I’m trying to start it, still. Removed wipers today to take big good lock to CEM connectors, which probably (but hopefully not) the reason why car wouldn’t start. Next step probably will be checking all the CEM fuses + ECM, cause car will not connect these by any reason and wouldn’t start

Read the codes with DiCE/VIDA. The car literally tells you what is broken. You click on any code present, and VIDA have a walk through that points to an actual problem with 90% of confidence.

Replacing relays is pain in L-shaped CEMs. It is hard to take these CEMs out, it is hard to disassemble them, it is hard to desolder a broken relay (need a soldering station with hot air). Volvo Cars made sure you better pay $1600 for a new CEM (or, better, spend 1/2 of new car price in two years leasing it out), unless you're stubborn and dedicated to break that ill "buy new" economy by fixing the CEM for $7.99.

What the car says - is that she has problems with ECM and CEM at the same time- they cant connect, error codes are ECM-8210 which is a relay error (system relay signal faulty), CEM-1A62 which says that there is no connection to ECM (missing signal of communication with ECM control module). At the same time when I'm reading all codes automatically - I can see CEM reports, but when I'm trying to read CEM manually, it just says "failed to communicate", so Im guessing that the CEM is bad

I had to replace the same relay on the REM. I got zero resistance on the coil. This was causing ANTI SKID to be out service because the REM communicates to the DEM. I purchased the AZ980-1A-12DE relay from www.digikey.com.

You have a better choice in Europe: Mahle LAO54, with antimicrobial layer. We've had it in US for some time, too, but I can't find it anymore. Even had the same LAO series filters in my big Toyotas, no longer sold as well.
