The new filter is a genuine Volvo filter that had the same part number as was in there. I know there are also charcoal filters available but not sure if they would fit into the housing

Your filter is charcoal. But there's an even better filter. They all fit: pollen, charcoal, antimicrobial...

My lungs don't find anything bad in a better filter. Cabin blower I can always replace when it dies.

I just don't have hardly any airflow with charcoal filters. I need as much as possible in the texas summers.

I'd be looking at A/C evaporator inspection. Also door actuators get bad in this car, you may get cooled air mixing with hot.

A VIDA/DiCE will allow you to run a CCM test; the steps are easy to follow.
The charcoal cabin filter traps finer particles and odors in addition to what a plain pollen cabin filter captures.

Nah, otherwise more people would be aware of broken actuators :)

Turned my DRLs off with Vida, why did Volvo not keep the 850 system where you could press a tiny button on the headlamp switch to alternate between on and off, finding it in Vida for the V70 was a PITA.

I think you’re just looking for any excuse to post pictures of that beautiful car! How many miles on it? It looks brand new, I’m super jealous.
