Modification Question

a 98 v70
im wondering if a K&N would be installable on here since it is a non turbo, also i read that a v70 chip is not available? im reasonably new to this so any help is greatly appreciated

Yes, K&N will work. How much performance will it provide? That's another story ;-).

I don't think I can really feel the difference between my regular air filter and my K&N.

Chips... according to this, IPD does not sell chips for non-turbo models

So your V70 would have to be a GLT at least. However, there may be a chipmaker for non-turbos. Here is a comprehensive Volvo upgrade chip page:

as for my car as is, the v70 with a good amount of clicks i want to know what i should get done to it to get it running smoother, tranny flush, torque converter flush, change spark wires and spark plugs?

tranny flush -- absolutely
torque converter flush -- don't know
change spark wires -- possibly
spark plugs -- absolutely

If you do a power flush on the trans your torque converter will be flushed as the power flush replaces all of the trans fluid.
'11 C30 T5

'96 854 - died an early death with 184K miles. Killed by the front end of an LTD on a suicide mission (T-boned and both cars totaled).
