We have a 3d parts thread you can add this to. Great idea!Goupil wrote: ↑25 Mar 2023, 14:13Here you go, I might make a thread once they have survived a few thousand miles/months of use

Still using the factory clips for the bottom edge, never had an issue with those and I have a lot spares since you cant buy the top ones separately![]()

Quite the day abscate! Glad you both managed to survive the physical move. Now there are just a bunch of boxes to empty............!
So no actual car work, but I have updated the progress of the P80 speaker and audio test box progress in the Audio section. Now at the point of starting the wiring. Got the speaker mounts made and the banana plug sockets mounted. Next the actual wiring and making up a permanent head unit to speaker harness with banana plugs on the ends for easy connections.
Thanks again to Matthew for his help in getting my account back up and running. Took a lot of his time and patience! Much appreciated!
Neil.

Funny how people are different. You're testing audio components, and I'm sitting here without the code even entered into my car stereo. I do know the antenna will go up and down, at least!scot850 wrote: ↑26 Mar 2023, 16:49 Quite the day abscate! Glad you both managed to survive the physical move. Rear flexible brake lines on my 98 V70XC. 30 minute job turned into 12 hours of cursing the swedish. One side needed just a hacksaw and flaring tool, the driver's side needed the trailing arm/jack point to be dropped and absurd amount of bending for an 8 inch piece of brake line.
Old ones were rubbed through to the fiber, wanted to bleed the brakes anyways. Figured might as well while I'm in there, which seems to always be my problem.
Front ones came off with an Irwin 4LW and a little bit of weight, no problem.

Those 4LW vise grips are awesome for brake lines. A must have tool for sure!jsrnsis wrote: ↑26 Mar 2023, 19:36 Rear flexible brake lines on my 98 V70XC. 30 minute job turned into 12 hours of cursing the swedish. Yeah, I really wish I knew about them earlier, makes front brake lines a breeze. Too bad there's no room to turn them for the rear lines on an AWD p80.bmdubya1198 wrote: ↑26 Mar 2023, 19:54Those 4LW vise grips are awesome for brake lines. A must have tool for sure!
A snap-on 11mm flare wrench is seeming like it would be a smart purchase after stripping 3 Volvo flare nuts with the Harbor Freight Quinn set I have

I was able to use them on an AWD P80 rear brake line, but I removed that bracket just ahead of the rear wheel. It makes it a little easier. It looks like that bracket is supporting the subframe, but it's not.jsrnsis wrote: ↑26 Mar 2023, 21:22 Yeah, I really wish I knew about them earlier, makes front brake lines a breeze. That probably wouldn't be a bad investment! Most cheaper line wrenches don't seem to fit very well on these soft little brake line fittings.

I went to the Snap On flare wrench years ago when I found all other brands I tried rounded the 11mm brake line flare nuts. On an AWD P80 it is not worth thinking about damaging a rear brake line as it means dropping the rear subframe to replace it.
