This is as close as I can get the marks to line up when the crank shaft and cams are where they are supposed to be!

The car started with no problem but there’s a ticking noise that is evident. No such sound before removing timing and serpentine belts. Any idea what this could be? Attached a video.

If the car has been sitting for a while the lifters dry out. Normally a few runs and it will return to normal.

Keep revs below 3000 rpm but idle it around for 30 minutes to help those lifters pump up.

Throw some Marvel's mystery oil in it, change oil as usual. It'll be consumed but it makes it easier for them to pump up and also removes some contaminates. Be warned, if you have sludge in that engine, it may dislodge some of it. *Mumbles about W engines to self w/sludging*
