It holds fine when torqued properly and the threads were dry. It went off after I replaced the front crank seal. It was PITA to replace, I used a thin piece of plastic as sleeve, lubricated it with oil, a few oil drops ended up on the threads. Had to degrease it better, but I was reluctant to spraying it all over, because it could damage the new seal.Blacklab467 wrote: ↑28 Apr 2023, 10:44 Perhaps this is another good reason to not remove the crankshaft bolt and pulley when changing the timing belt.
