Re: crankshaft position sensor-
2009 Volvo C T5 convertible. overheated because the stupid gage isn't working apparently I pulled over after it died. cooled down for over an hour,, when I went to start it so I could put more water in it, it would not start. I checked all the relays and cheeses under the hood that I knew of. are there fuses on the inside box that I should check ? I even tried to reset the computer by pulling the two multipin connectors that are up front by the air filter . no luck on starting it. Please advise me of anything you can do to help thanks

I don't have an answer; your 2009 C70 is a very different car from the older ones discussed here, you may have better luck getting a response by posting the question over here: viewforum.php?f=25

Worth a new thread in the link Erik posted for newer C70s.stevenammo27 wrote: ↑07 May 2023, 13:06 2009 Volvo C T5 convertible. overheated because the stupid gage isn't working apparently I pulled over after it died. cooled down for over an hour,, when I went to start it so I could put more water in it, it would not start. Help provide more info on “would not start”. Can you hear the starter spin? Does engine spin over? Does engine fire at all?
The P1s are known to overheat when low on coolant and can overheat quickly. How much did you add, I.e. how low was it? The ‘octopus’ hose under the airbox is a known failure point causing leaks.
