Did a power steering fluid flush today. Wheels in the air, engine off and turn the steering wheel from lock to lock. 2 litres later and it's all clean again

I've had a P0496 with a CEL for a while, could be faulty purge valve.
Last inspection I deleted the code and got the car stickered ok but it made for a rough idle .

I put a light under the intake to check the hoses and found the vac hose from the top of the intake has a split along a 2 inch section, theres a check valve but its not doing anything with no vacuum to check.

Pulled the hose off and pushed a length of clear tube into it to bridge the split .
Put it all back and cleared the code, it hasn't come back again.

Cutting the garage concrete floor to prep for a lift, dust is too much, vac cleaner doesn't get it all.
I have a 2 cartridge respirator but its too restrictive for me to breathe, so...
I made a water feed to the diamond blade, it only produces a slurry from the dust, no cloud or water.
Water is fed by a pressurized weed sprayer.

Just tried my new diamond wet saw, works as planned, leaves a nice slurry but no dust whatsoever. Its a win.

Raise both front wheels off the ground, I vacuum extracted the old oil from the reservoir (it is possible to pour out into a container), removed the small return pipe at the bottom (see image) and plug the return outlet port, connect extension tube to return pipe and place in a container. Fill reservoir with clean fluid and turn steering wheel from lock to lock. Check reservoir level and don't allow to run empty. Once clean fluid is coming through put return pipe back onto reservoir and tighten clamps check level, start engine and do lock to lock a few times to get any air out the system. Wheels on the ground and check the reservoir level and that's it finished.

This was the method I used...
