Strut seat binding, 96 850 Wagon

After replacing both strut assemblies to include all the parts the DS strut makes a groaning/ binding sound when you turn the wheel from lock to lock. Like when backing out or pulling forward. Is this common or do I need to pull the strut for inspection? It went together easy enough & the PS makes no sound. I tried some dry lube but it did not help.

These are your steering stops...they are on your ball joint knuckles...they simply need to be greased. Good luck!

The sound is coming from the strut seat area. But I will check the part you suggested. It happens whenever I turn the wheel, like in a parking lot sitting still or backing out of a parking place.
