09 S60 2.5T AWD Faint Metallic Noise

There is a faint metallic noise coming from under the car when driven. It's like a ball bearing sitting on a glass plate being rolled around sitting on something that would fast vibrate the plate. Another description would be like that of a small piece of metal bring dragged by the car but the sound is at a very high rate of frequency and very very faint.

if the sound is central , look at the heat shield above the prop shaft ,
if located at a wheel it could be the dust shield that backs up the brake disk.
Both are flimsy , easily bent and cause noise.

My girlfriends car had some debris on the rotor. We cleared it up with a brake clean bath while spinning the rotors. I had my rear rotors chirp like a bird when i got some rust proofing spray on them. Same method to clean them up.
