What wheels fit? 2006 xc70 Ocean Race 17"

Post by AlanS »

I posted in the past, but wanted to see if there is any further info I can get: 2006 xc70 with 17" wheels. My wheels are so corroded, that no refinisher (that I could find) would touch them. That said, I need wheels. What models/ years are a direct replacement for my wheels? There are so many Volvo models and I know that the wheels are not interchangeable. That said..any suggestions on after market wheels that won't break my wallet?

There are too many ways to look for a wheel but hopefully the following will help narrow it for you.

EDIT : In General
P1 & P3 Center Bore 63.4 mm
P2 Center Bore 65.1 mm
P2 XC90 Center Bore 67.1 mm (to 2014)

The first link and pic is for your P2. The specs in red are what's important when searching for on a wheel. The second link has a typical 17" wheel that will work and it list other P2 cars that you can interchange with. As long as you keep the offset at around ET45 to ET49 you should absolutely have no clearance issues.

The specs are stamps on the back of the rim. Make sure your current is within those specs. If it's different and you have no issues you maybe able to use something similar to that also.

Any P2 (non-XC90) wheel 16" or larger will work fine. Some XC90 wheels work with hub-centric rings. People have made P1/P3 wheels work by getting the center bore machined out, but it's expensive and generally not worth it.

These are sharp. Taller I think. Ipd sells them as Pegasus replica 19", and OE Titan 17" for double.
