Yeah, I'm using a T-27 screwdriver.

It has to be an exact fit or the end will just slide over the female torx opening on the screws...if you have the right size (can't remember), then you might just have to push harder while you turn it. Never heard of these screws not coming out...oh and make sure you're turning them the right way...working opposite (as it's from behind), direction sure can be deceiving- remember, it's righty tighty, lefty, loosey.

I've tried both; no luck. Tried both directions.....I can't get my car inspected until I can get the horn to work :(

Is it that it won't budge or is it that your torx slides over the top of the screw?

Well I can't get my head over to see it. Am I working with the wrong screw? When I have the wheel at 90 degrees, there's a hole in the middle that I'm working on. when I put the torx in there, it seems to fit, but it just won't move

You might try spraying some PB Blaster up into that hole (have a towel or tissue handy for what drips back out and let it sit a bit before trying again. Evidently it is tightened up really, really tightly.

I'm about to give up. I bought the PB blast and it's not working

I found a picture of a steering wheel

I'm trying to unscrew the screws near the edge, right?

Go through the holes next to the webbing on the wheel you have pictured. Right side first with the battery disconnected so as to not set an SRS lamp.

My 850's take a T-25 torx.
