I should add that used to be on 4 different cars! Really sad I know, but it was also sad how many times I found items like thin wire, large construction staples, screws and nails in tires over the years. Fortunately, I now only need to one set of tires as the R is put away for winter on a set of 'slave tires/rims and the Toyota runs on mud/snow tires year round. Only the XC sees tire wheel swaps now.

I wanted to test my low fuel light, and it works, but now I'm kind of circled back to one of the first problems I identified:

I can't tell if the top of my fuel float is off or if gas pump auto stop cuts off early.

Needle was on the red, low fuel light was on, just under 62L loaded. Gauge showed me right around where low 60s would be.

Sigh, killed a deer (I assume) with the S70. Blew the passenger side window out. Destroyed my new headlight and turn signal, dented the door, and severely buckled the hood. Vibrates a little more, too, but the wheel didn't look damaged. Maybe turbulence, as I continued driving home at highway speeds. On top of that I just filled the gas tank today, so now I have to figure out how to hopefully pump that out.

Expect a sale post. I was planning on replacing it anyway. I guess I'm going to have to drive the 850 tomorrow even though there's still some salt out there.

The Slime didn’t fully work, so I ended up having to plug a couple of the holes. It would’ve looked like a porcupine if I’d plugged all the holes. Let’s hope it holds!

I'm not sure what it would take. The car was in an accident before I got it, and the front end was already a little munched. Now it's much worse. I've thoroughly enjoyed driving the car, but I don't have the time and space to work on it. I'm gone 12 hours a day for work, and it's looking to become even longer. It would be a good rust free parts car for someone, Though, or I suppose it could be fixed. It hasn't even hit 120K miles yet.

Today, I found deer hair in the tire bead, which surprised me.

You're gonna be finding deer hair everywhere. When I hit a deer in my X5 last year, I was noticing it on the door molding several weeks later when I finally decided to try to push out the dent it left in my passenger door.

My s/v70 door card replacement inserts came from redlinegoods, so I'll be installing them sometime soon. We'll see how it goes, I don't see much about them online.
