2000 S79

On my 2000 S70, the trunk supports don't always hold. Today, it fell on my head. Ouch! In frustration- I pulled it open too hard or too far, and now it is jammed open and absolutely will not close. Help!

You may have over extended or bent the trunk strut(s). Try disconnecting one at a time and see if it makes a difference.

Perhaps this can provide some help. Per Neil it's probably bent or popped off on the inside and jammed.
