Front door window track R&R (problem with Volvo part)

Just came across your post as I was dealing wondering why my window had fallen off track and what that piece it metal on the inside of the door was doing there, lol. After seeing this post, I was able to put the pieces together of the puzzle. I fabricated a tab that had broken off mine and managed to get it all back together. Thank you !!

Excellent. I never was able to find the correct plastic fastener for the trim piece. But the car is being junked now, so...

Awesome to hear! Mine is still going strong although my window does make a clunky noise when lowered. But it has done this since this post back in 2008.

That's too bad! I used strong velcro and it has held up fine. For me it was the backing that ripped and the clips no longer fit in.
