Replacing coolant overflow hose in 2010 V70

Post by dfp711 »

How do I replace the coolant overflow hose in my 2010 V70?

I noticed that the tube that runs to the top left side of the coolant reservoir is kinked. I purchased a new hose, but I can't see how to remove the old one. Any suggestions? Also, how to install the new hose?

If you are talking about the hose from the reservoir to the cylinder head.

Reservoir end you squeeze the ears and pull off the hose.

Cylinder head side you squeeze the connector and pull off the hose.

For the other hose that goes to the radiator...........I can't remember but it is similar to what I wrote above.

Good Luck

Paul
