my thoughts are that maybe poor mixture could be since my converters are bad, the o2 sensors are getting bad reading and engine is using poor mixture. does anyone have any opinion on my case?

For your information, the catalytic converters don’t change the air/fuel mixture. The primary O2 sensors are before the catalytic converters and these O2 sensors are the ones that can alter the air/fuel ratio.

So, you first want to focus on getting the delayed maintenance up to date with good parts so the engine runs healthy.
