Radiator Replaced now car stalls and cuts off
I got a radiator replacement now water is leaking but when the radiator got put on now my Volvo xc90 just stalls at stops and sometimes cut off. I'm so discouraged and confused at this point the mechanic did what he was supposed to do but why is the car cutting off now like that I'm in tears.... Could something like a sensor went out when he changed it or what could it be this is driving me crazy please help.....

Take it back to the mechanic and have them scan for codes. Hard to diagnose without codes to point you in a direction. Could have missed a connection on a sensor or a harness.

Do you have any shifting issues?
Any hard starting?
What it sounds like at first is the shop didn't level the transmission fluid. The transmission cooler lines run through the radiator. This wouldn't throw a code.
With a 2004 XC90 2.5t, you will have a transmission dipstick. You can search Youtube or online how to check the level while the vehicle is running, parked and warmed up. If it is low, top it off with specific T-IV/JWS-3309 transmission fluid. You can use a very small funnel onto the dipstick tube and fill slowly to level. Do NOT use the universal or multi-vehicle fluid like MaxLife ATF (NO).
If you also have some hard starting, maybe also check the TMAP sensor, or the MAP, also the boost sensor. It is located on the intercooler intake tube, between the headlight and radiator. This also might not throw a code.
The correct way to diagnose is to first do a simple visual check. Check the connections of the intercooler hoses, check the TMAP and other sensors. etc. Then one would check the live readings of the sensors. Remember that the Autozone scanner might not scan the transmission module. You may need a better shop level scanner or VIDA.
Good luck

What troubleshooting steps would you recommend for diagnosing and resolving potential transmission fluid level or sensor issues on a 2004 Volvo XC90 2.5T vehicle?

Good question. If you are concerned with shift quality issues, the XC90 2.5t transmission has a dipstick to check the level. There are plenty of contributors who made good YouTube videos that can help. The dipstick is a little hidden further down and the yellow plastic can be difficult to spot. The videos can also help with understanding if you should check the level while the engine is running and how to interpret the level when the fluid is cold or hot.
The transmission fluid would be my next check. For the XC90 2.5t, the fluid specification is JWS-3309/T-IV. You can find these in brands like Mobil 3309, Aisin T-IV, Idemitsu TLS, and Toyota T-IV. A good 12 quarts/liters is a good amount of fluid to go through doing a fluid change.
If the transmission fluid has never been changed, or if it’s been 20k-30k miles since the last fluid change, it might be a good idea to change it. You can ask a shop to do 3x drain/fills or there are also a good number of contributors on YouTube who show how to do this procedure for the 2.5t.
Good luck
