Hey Folks, so it looks like my rear exhaust heat shield has come loose at two of the bolts and hangs down on my exhaust causing some unwanted noises. The spot where the (Nuts?) would fit on are rusted out making the holes in the shield about 2 times the size and the bolts themselves are rusted into kinda just a point rather than threads it looks like. Has anyone had luck using new bolts and just affixing something to the bottom of the shield to hold it up? I didn't want to take my interior apart just to find I can't replace the bolts and haven't found any documentation on the process. Any other solutions? I've attached a picture of one of the mounting points for reference.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Threaded studs are spot welded. You can grind your old ones and weld a new ones, if you have the equipment.
I just filled plastic nuts with "Gorilla Heavy Duty Ultimate Construction Adhesive" and it holds well.
