Caide that is pretty incredible best ive seen on one of these units, how did you identify where to solder those connection onto the PCB?

I am trying out the Yatour unit right now but I am incredibly disappointed, audio quality sounds compressed and lacks midrange, so it seems the search continues.

That’s some nice wiring work.

I have a couple of good FM BT units that don’t buzz, I’ll put brands up today

Is there any advantage to using the CD port rather than using the hijacking the Tapedeck inputs like so many have done for the aux input mod?

I currently have a 12v Bluetooth module soldered to Tapedeck inputs and I'm looking into options for when I get the SC-901 running

I bought a cheap (like $40) standalone CarPlay adapter thing that had a fm modulator and aux output. It worked ok for a while both fm and with the tape adapter but I found a good deal on a blitzsafe Bluetooth/cd changer adapter that works great.

I’ve upgraded a majority of the stereo with other “stock” Volvo parts. Upgraded some speakers out of an s60r with slight modification and pulled an amp from a c70. But amazing sounding “stock” system

I haven't heard of this one before🤔

Would you happen to know the part number for this?

Their website is not great and the one parts list I found only lists the Volvo aux products

https://www.ebay.com/itm/125391555133?c ... U_EALw_wcB

9472753 Rh front.
3533967 Lh front
Are from some of the housings I’ve got laying around.

Best bet is too pull them at a junkyard and pay $10-20 for a whole speaker then buying them on eBay.

The rears pretty much bolt right up except they have an additional tweeter that gets slightly in the way when putting the rear deck back on so that needs to be modified. Or you can take the 8” out of the front from the above part numbers for the rear deck. I then took those 4”? Speakers and were able to get them into the dash holes. You can take the 1.5” tweeter and wire it in parallel as well

The rear speakers are 6” so those would work in the doors but you I had to cut out the speaker grills as the improved bass was causing some buzzing.

And then the amp is 3533798. There’s a thread or two on how to hook that up but pretty simple if you also pull the wiring harnesses with it.

I should say that was for my 98 s70. The 850s may be different but still 8ohm carbon? Speakers are a great upgrade from the stock paper ones

i used monster fm transmitter from wally world no pop, no buzz, bass boost if you're into that sort of thing. you just need to find a good channel that doesn't have a relatively strong signal or close to strong signal and your golden.
i'm also not using it anymore for .. reasons so i'll ship it to anyone that wants it.
