Depending how bad it is, you can often reuse the cannister. Use gasoline to help break down the old oil residue. Make sure the side hole with the short pipe to the front of the engine block, and the lowest drain at the bottom into the block, and the drains into the block from them are clear. Brake cleaner may also help in the process.

+1 on brake cleaner and reusing the box. it is not very complex in design, if you clean it thoroughly you should be good.

I also reused mine, I scrubbed it out using brake cleaner and brushes and compressed air.
I don't know what liquid moly oil saver is, but googling I assume it's for like when the piston rings get crudded up and the engine starts eating oil? I don't think that's the issue here so I do not think adding it will help you any.
Some MAF cleaning spray is probably a good idea however. Rough idle can also be caused by vacuum leaks so check vacuum connections.

I purchased Liqui Moly Oil Saver from Motonet in Finland to address oil leaks in my car. At the time, I wasn’t aware that I had a clogged PCV system until I came across Robert’s video explaining the glove test.DennisCA wrote: ↑26 Nov 2024, 00:54 I also reused mine, I scrubbed it out using brake cleaner and brushes and compressed air.

I’m not sure if the previous owner ever added any oil treatments, but I believe it’s always a good idea to show the car a little love, especially when it’s been through a lot right? 350,000 km already.
Currently, I’m dealing with some rough idling, which happens only when parking or stopped. The RPM drops about 100–300, so I’m investigating potential causes. I’ve checked the air filter, and it seems okay, so I suspect it might be:
A vacuum leak
A MAF sensor issue
A problem with the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve
I’m not a mechanic, but I’m definitely learning as I go! I just wish I had a garage to check everything myself—it would save me from driving 150 km to my friend’s place and bothering them for help all the time.
Thank you for all the advice so far; it’s been a huge help as I troubleshoot these issues!

most important: don't buy a generic (even Bosch branded, but calles universal) MAF. Only the OE Maf works. I don't know if they are still available through Skandix. To check if it is the MAf, you can unklug it and run it that way. If it runs better, your MAF could be the culprit.
I'd first try looking for vacum leaks and try cleaning the Idee air control (IAC) real good.
If you and your friend do the PCv, don't forget to order the intake manifold gasket. additionally, I think you can only reach the very left 10mm bolt with a 1/4 inch socket and a wobbly extension.
It is not a hard job to do, though. Just takes a bit time. But it's winter, so it's dark up there anyhow, right

So to troubleshoot the idle problem, can I test the car without the MAF sensor temporarily to see if it resolves the rough idling issue? I’ll also inspect for vacuum leaks and clean the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve as part of the process.
Regarding the PCV system, I currently only have these parts available for replacement (check attached). I’ll provide an update once I’ve had a chance to work on it, which will hopefully be this weekend.
Unfortunately, the car has already lost about 2 liters of oil, so I’ve kept the dipstick slightly out to help relieve the pressure temporarily. Hopefully, this prevents further issues until I can replace the PCV.
Thank you again for all the helpful advice—I’ll let you know how things go after I’ve made these changes!
