Hey guys, I just changed the level sender because the gauge would get a bit erratic and then die off after about 20 min, and now after replacement it would die in about 5 min. I am wondering if its really the level sensor in the fuel pump and if I should just replace the pump as well.
Thanks!
Gas gauge still dies after replacing level sender 06 s60

Much of my time during the job is spent hauling things up and down the stairs to the basement or in and out of the storage shed, or running back downstairs when I realize I need something else,or taking a break from standing out in the sun,or using flashlights or work lamps when it gets dark.

No, but it does look like there was some kind of flash fire in the tank since there is brown marks all around; brown stain on plug and the level sensor. I think I'm gonna have to replace the pump either way since it's pushing 20 now.
