There is a number of designs for Hydrogen-On-Demand in cars in Chapter 10. However, there is little indication so far that it is possible to fuel the engine only with HHO (requires a lot of hydrogen and complete chage of ignition timing).

I am thinking of having my engine converted to LPG (to be able to switch between gasolin and liquified petroleum gas). A guy who is in this business, told me that they install a separate ECU and gas injectors for LPG. Once this is in place, it would be easier to mix HHO gas through the same reductor and injectors. Given the price of LPG is twice lower than gasoline, and MPG is just slightly lower, HHO would probably make this setup more cost effective.

Good to hear about Rich's adventures. Hopfully one has the knowledge to share with him and enlighten us all.
Although my HHO Cell/Tank(http://hhotek.com/home.html) sits in a box in my office since the middle of August. I can't even afford time to install this. But, I'm still researching ways to improve on improvements!
I just found an article on Acetone as a fuel additive that can give gains from 15-35% plus in fuel MPG. Now, I'm still tweaking this for my 87 740 non turbo. The last couple of years on a couple of my best days of driving I've gotten 28 mpg, but my average is 24-26 mpg HWY mind you. This past weekend I traveled to a couple of cities, spent some time driving in the stop and go traffic and stopping at quite a few residences (serving civil process). It was somewhat half and half, city and hwy driving. The end of one leg was 89 miles,then I filled up and figured it to be 29.66MPG. Be it coal or wood, what combustible gasses after burning that fuel?
Surely, there are some carbon hydrates if the temperature is right, but powering a truck from it...

Have had my HHO system in since October and done some tweaking. My results were from 18.4 to 23.6...averages of four fill ups in this February to last February four fill ups. No EFIE device or MAF/MAP either.

I'm also using all Amsoil products in my vehicles.

Which model car and year?
Also, would love to see some pictures of your set-up and how much this rig cost you to put together.

is where I purchased my kit from. They have improved kits now.

The cell kit was $270 with approximately $60 in additional hardware. All fittings are sealed with silicone as well as the electrical connections. The improved kits have sturdier cells as well as more complete hardware. My Electrolyte ratio is one gallon of water to 2.75 tsp of Potassium Hydroxide, KOH.

I'd say under $50 for a relatively good cell and hardware. Not a glass jar. My brother built just the a cell for approximately $20.

There is an online place that you can buy a finished polymer cell for $75.(http://www.hydroreactors.com/page11.html) Just buy the installation hardware and you're finished. They also have the full kits. I'm going to furnish my 89 Volvo with this. Of all the money I spent on additional install hardware, I have enough left for at least another install.

The buy it now price was $149 US dollars. I offered him $108 and he accepted it, it looks to be very good and he is a power seller who has been on Ebay for 8+ years with over 99% positive feedback. It is a very complete kit. It should arrive within a week or so. I will definitely post pics and results of the install in my 1998 2.3l S70 T5. He claims output from 1-4 LPM at about 10-12 amps per LPM. The quality of the parts also appears to be quite good comparatively. No 02 sensor electronics modifier but it includes and O2 extender which should help.
