Apologies for the delay in getting back to you on the weight of the wheel bearing.
I weighed my old Volvo wheel bearing in the replacement SKF box. In my case they did not include the 4 new E-Torx bolts or the later style bolt and washer axle retainer.
The bearing and box were 8.2lbs. I would allow possibly another 0.5lb or so for the 4 replacement mounting bolts and in your case the axle nut.
Hope that helps! I got my SKF bearings from Rock Auto. Maybe check if they can ship direct to you. Their shipping prices are usually very good to Canada and include border charges and import taxes.
Neil.

For a bunch of reasons (paint shop needing the thing rolling, etc) I'm going for a cheap used hub. That'll do until I replace the bearings, boots, and control arms as a set soon-ish

At least you have a way forward, even if it is short term.
Good Luck!

Now that I'm paying closer attention to Robert's video on the wheel bearing and reading other threads I'm now considering that the lugs snapped because of a bad bearing. Sound before it happened is exactly as in his video.

Chieber, I think that fog lights just make any of these cars look better. Totally understand putting them in even if they're not needed!

Today I removed the rocker panel cover on the right side. I am gonna remove both for inspection but I started with the right since I am going to start addressing the rust hole on the fender as well.
Those lower plastic pins where a real PITA to get rid off, someone said you could just push them in, but that did not help at all with removing them. I had to drill and cut everyone out. Not looking forward to working on the left side.
When I got it off there was a lot of dirt trapped inside. The rust situation doesn't seem too bad. It's mainly around the clips.

Not sure what's happened here though, looks like someone tried to lift it wrong.

Only rust found on the top side

All in all it doesn't look too bad. I'll do what I can to remove and convert the rust before painting with some epoxy base and soaking the sill in Dinitrol. Need to find new plastic push pins too. I hope the left side is in no worse shape than this.
