no power, no DTC

Post by vergessen »

Hey folks,

My 2005 p26 d5 185hp has the following problem:

Running d5t5 215hp no egr, no dpf for a year. Everything is running fine. Last week I had to visit tüv (German gov inspection). It passed the exhaust test but it was in limp mode. ECM complaint about dpf differential pressure which should be deleted since I flashed the software last year. I flashed again to 185 hp, no egr, no dpf. Dtc is gone, but still no power.

Any ideas? I replaced the boost pressure / temp sensor. Nothing changed. When I check life values on Vdash all the values do not seem plausible but the graphs do. For example boost temp is going up and down when using a heat gun to the sensor. But the value is changing just from 121 to 122. Is it possible that vdash converts the values with a wrong factor? Same with DPD pressure. Reading is somewhere at 50000 hpa.

Thanks in advance!
Julius

Welcome to MVS, Julius. Do you have codes? We're not a very diesel-centric forum here because we got 0 Volvo diesels in North America after the 240 diesel. But I'll try to help :-).
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!
