96-850 Heated Seat Temp>

The heated seats on my 96-850 do not get very warm.
I have just purchsed the car and at time of purchase the wire was broken under seat .Safety recall 112 has just be completed to fix wire harness , now seat heats up but not a lot.
Is there any way to adjust temp?

There's (or was) two different thermostats available: a 97-degree and a 101-degree (if memory serves). That's fahrenheit.

I'm pretty sure the higher heat one was being phased out due to cracking leather. When I bought my replacement thermostat 3 years ago, they still had both. I'd call your dealer and ask if they have the higher temp one. Mine was $15 or 20 US.

The recall lowers the temp somewhat, not sure what temp the new thermostat is, but that is replaced as part of the campaign.

My understanding was that seat heaters were for warming up the seats on cold Swedish days, and then to be turned off.
