2000 v70 xe turbo, abs ,brake and blinking arrow, check eng

Post by joe curtin »

I bought the car 2months ago, and sometimes the abs+brake light went on.

Last week i took a trip about 2hrs and was on the road when i hit a bump when all three lights came on abs ,check eng ,brakes.

When i came to a stop in went into limp mode, downshifted manualy and it worked fine. Since then took to a trans shop drove it and he said it was fine, he got these codes p0722,+p1648 does anyone know what this might be?

On a 2000 a bad ABS unit can cause the dashboard to go haywire along with t host of other functions

Also check your axles for tightness. I had one that the axle was ready to fall out, everytime I hit a bad bump, all the lights came on

gotta agreee with JRL on this one, repair the ABS module FIRST. I wasted $80 on a new abs sensor (that's the code that came up). Its a bad abs module.

i just got my car back,it was the speed sensor, and a wiring problem,it took the mechanic a few days to find it.the code po722,p1618,went with the speed sensor, the lasy code never went away, so no speedometer,so he went threw the wiring and found it. the best 300dollars i ever spent. volvo wanted 150 just to put it on the machine.
